Our Family Weekend Camps are 100% free of charge!
We are now accepting 2023 applications for our IOWA Camp located at the YMCA’s Camp Wapsie near Coggon, IA September 22nd to the 24th. AND our ILLINOIS Camp located at Timber Point Outdoor Center near Hudson, IL October 6th to the 8th.
All our former camper families, and NEW families are welcome to apply.

Second Star Camp continues to monitor policy and procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic. The safety and well-being of our campers, volunteers and supporters, including in person programs, and fundraising events, is our top priority. We are looking at federal, state, and local agencies to implement best practices aimed at managing the spread of the novel and complex virus. Second Star Camp has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 virus; however, Second Star Camp, under no circumstances, is able to guarantee that you or a guest will not become infected with the virus while attending an event.
